Darron Makrokanis

Darron Makrokanis is the current CRO at Xage Security and comes from a distinguished background in innovative, hyper growth tech companies and government service. Prior to joining Xage as CRO, Darron was D2iQ’s SVP for the Americas, Australia, and New Zealand. He was also a Board member and the President and GM of D2iQ Federal, LLC, the government subsidiary of D2iQ.

Darron has a depth of experience within government, spending time directly in (in uniform) or supporting defense, intelligence, and law enforcement organizations. With more than 25 years of experience, Darron is responsible for Xage’s global go-to-market strategy, focusing on a holistic, inclusive approach to the government and enterprise commercial business, which involves strategic partners and systems integrators, resellers, hyper-scalers (Cloud Service Providers), FFRDCs and UARCs, all supporting the mission and business needs of the organizations Xage supports.

Previously, Darron held Sales and Business Development executive leadership roles at Druva, Tenable, Splunk, and Booz Allen Hamilton. Darron also had the distinct privilege of serving his country as an Intelligence Officer in the United States Navy Reserve, his State and community early in his career as a law enforcement officer, specializing in Special Operations and Criminal Investigations.
